Sarahs' Story

Sarah Mycroft is attempting to set a New World Record to be the First Woman to Run Around Australia.

Her challenge began on April 4th at Sydney Opera House, running north over Sydney Harbour Bridge towards Queensland. To date Sarah has averaged 64.6 km daily.
The single mum, along with her  2 children Bonnie~Sky, (4&1/2) and Austin (21 months) and 4 international travelers who help out as road crew; live in a converted Scania Bus. It's a cool way to see the country!

Over 8 1/2 months the run will take Sarah and the crew through all States and Territories including Tasmania. The athlete is only able to do this with your support and donations. Delivering a hard but important message to students; Sarah visits students at schools encouraging our youth to get active by working up a sweat daily, and looking after their health by eating organic, unprocessed fresh food.

The title of her epic run "One Lap No Excuses" is designed to reach people from all walks of life... and importantly, to motivate them to get up and DO what it is that one individual has been putting on "the back burner..."

See her amazing transformation from single housebound mum with 2 kids under 4, to World Record maker. It shows that believing in your dreams can make the seelmingly impossible materialise. This will definitely make you wonder what it is you can do with your own life, if only you put the excuses aside and let the dreams unfold..
